The first court appearance for a former member of the Sask Party caucus was today (Thurs) in Regina. Cutknife-Turtleford MLA Ryan Domotor is charged with seeking to obtain sexual services. In total, 16 people were arrested by the Regina Police Service in a human trafficking sting operation, including Domotor.
Premier Scott Moe removed the MLA from government caucus and stripped him of all government appointments and responsibilities back in November when he was arrested. At the time, the Premier called the allegations disgusting and vile and said, “Those in public office should be working to support vulnerable women, not exploit them.”
Domotor’s next court date is February 1st.
