The lack of snow didn’t dull anyone’s enthusiasm for BHP Enchanted Forest this year. Organizers say 93,440 visitors entered the gates setting a new attendance record for the 25th Anniversary of the seasonal light show in Saskatoon.
Organizers believe the key factors which contributed to the ever-increasing attendance include the extension of the drive-thru route and the addition of three new light displays including the impressive BHP Christmas Around the Globe, the crowd-favourite Tunnel of Lights, and the Prairie Portraits. Another was the return of two Saskatchewan Blue Cross Light Walks at the beginning of the show in November.
The previous record was set during the COVID year of 2020/2021 when 92,000 people attended. Proceeds of BHP Enchanted Forest support the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation and Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.
