Quarterback Trevor Harris’ contract has been restructured, with the amount he gets lowered, for the 2024 season, according to Saskatchewan Roughriders’ General Manager Jeremy O’Day.
O’Day declined to discuss the financial terms of the deal but confirmed that its length remains unchanged from the two-year deal he initially signed with the team last year. Harris started five games for the Green and White in 2023 before suffering a tibial plateau fracture that ended his season. O’Day says that Harris has been in regular contact with the team and the training staff after missing the final 13 games of the 2023 campaign. O’Day says Harris let the team know just before Christmas hat he feels back to normal and healthy enough to play football. Harris completed 67.1 percent of his passes for 1,274 yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions while posting a 3-2 record as a starter.
