A 40-year-old woman is facing assault and weapons-related charges in connection to an investigation in the 200 block of Avenue D South last night (Thurs). Saskatoon Police responded around 7 in the evening to a report that a woman pointed a firearm at someone and was then banging at their door.
Police say when officers arrived, they confirmed the woman had retreated into a neighbouring home. She and two males were ordered out by members of the Tactical Support Unit without incident. A search warrant was executed at the home where a .22 calibre rifle and a paintball gun were seized.
