Saskatoon Police pulled over a truck pulling a trailer without a licence plate, around nine o’clock Wednesday morning at 30th Street West and Avenue G. The driver was found to have outstanding warrants and was arrested. Turns out the truck and trailer were stolen and officers also allege they found bear spray and break and enter tools. They say the ATV on the trailer had its Vehicle Identification Number removed. The 29 year old is facing several charges including weapons offences.
An 18 year old, man is facing charges after two incidents of evading police Tuesday afternoon and evening. The first was just before two o’clock when police spotted a stolen vehicle around Avenue N and 20th Street. Police say the vehicle fled while being driven erratically. Then around 8:30, it was seen at 18th Street and Avenue X. Police allege the driver rammed the police vehicle twice before getting stuck in a snowbank. They also say they found bear-spray under the driver’s seat. The man faces numerous charges including Assault with a Weapon and Evade Police.
