Moose Jaw Police say there was a two-vehicle collision on the city’s Main Street a few minutes before 1 p.m. Sunday where one of the vehicles left the roadway and hit a motel.

The motel is located at the bottom of Main Street at Manitoba Street East.

The Moose Jaw Police Service, Moose Jaw Fire Department, and EMS attended the motor vehicle accident. The driver of the vehicle who struck the motel was taken to hospital by EMS to be evaluated for minor injuries. Damage is estimated at $50,000.

The investigation is ongoing by police.
