Yorkton RCMP have arrested a man in connection to an investigation of a robbery and serious assault in that city. Officers responded just after 8 last Monday morning and determined there had been an altercation between a group of people. A man was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious.
Over the noon hour that day, five people were arrested at a Yorkton home. A search warrant was executed and RCMP say ammunition, items stolen from the victim, a stolen bag, and a machete were seized. Three people, 35-year-old Kyle Bodnarek, and 32-year-old Daryl Razor from Yorkton and 21-year-old Breeana Wright from Foam Lake were charged with robbery and aggravated assault. Bodnarek was also charged with pointing a firearm and Wright was charged with three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
Yorkton RCMP were looking for 38-year-old Jameson Demontigny, but he was located on Sunday and is charged with robbery, aggravated assault and failing to comply with an undertaking.
