The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency along with the Regina Police Service and Regina Fire and Protective Services have unveiled a new emergency vehicle and a new partnership between the three agencies.
The Mobile Command Post is a 37-foot vehicle that can be dispatched to incidents to act as the central command. It is equipped with radio communications, weather forecasting equipment and various video devices. President of the SPSA, Fire Commissioner Marlo Pritchard says the MCP has already been deployed for events like Country Thunder and the 2022 Grey Cup Festival.
