Attempting to pull over a vehicle in Prince Albert which didn’t stop has led to charges for a 33-year-old-man. The Prince Albert Police Service says an officer attempted a vehicle stop in the 100 block of River Street West on Monday, but as the member approached the vehicle, it sped away, nearly causing a collision with another vehicle. Through investigation the driver was identified and was located and arrested a short time later. Police say ammunition was seized during a search of his vehicle. The suspect was on a court ordered firearms prohibition.
Ryan Joshua Roode is charged with driving while being pursued and failing, without reasonable excuse, to stop, dangerous driving, and possession of ammunition when prohibited from doing so. He appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court this morning (Tues).
