Alberta and Saskatchewan RCMP are looking for the public’s help to identify suspects in a string of robberies between December 30th and January 4th. During that time period, Fort Saskatchewan, Vegreville, Two Hills and Turtleford RCMP received multiple complaints of robberies and thefts at local gas stations. The thefts were in the towns of Lamont, Mundare and Two Hills, Alberta, and in Paradise Hill in Saskatchewan. The RCMP’s North Battleford General Investigation Services is aiding in the investigation.
An RCMP news release says in most cases, the suspects drove a vehicle into the building, causing major damages and then stole various items including ATMs, liquor and cigarettes. In one instance, it is believed shots were fired when confronted by a complainant. The vehicle is described as a white, single cab pickup truck with a tow bed and integrated hitch.
RCMP are asking for anyone who may have security footage of the suspects and the vehicles used to contact them. The suspects are believed to be armed and dangerous, so you are urged not to approach them. Instead call the police.
