Around 1:30 Saturday morning, Melville RCMP responded to a fire at a home on 6th Avenue in Melville.

Once officers arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames and local firefighters were attempting to extinguish the blaze.

Once emergency crews made their way into the home, a deceased adult male was located. An autopsy has been ordered by the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.

The cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious.

The investigation in the fire is continuing.
