The Government of Saskatchewan has announced $32 million for 45 new relocatable classrooms to increase space.
The majority will go to Regina and Saskatoon, but other communities included are Humboldt, Lloydminster, Lumsden, Pilot Butte, Warman and Weyburn.
This funding is in addition to the $16 million announced for 23 relocatable classrooms and two classroom moves which was announced in the budget last spring.
Education Minister Jeremy Cockrill says this additional funding will help school divisions better manage enrolment pressures in the fastest growing areas of the province.
