A Weyburn company recently pleaded guilty in provincial court to violating The Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 2020.
The charges against Holdstock Livestock Ltd. stemmed from an incident that occurred on April 7, 2022, near Weyburn, Saskatchewan, where a worker was seriously injured when they were charged and knocked to the ground by a bull.
The company has to pay $50,000 in fines and surcharges. One additional charge was withdrawn.
