Two people were arrested in Beauval by the Meadow Lake RCMP Crime Reduction Team last Friday.

Twenty-five-year-old Christopher Ernst from Meadow Lake and 25-year-old Gina Roy from Beauval face multiple charges. Ernst was wanted in connection with an altercation between two men on the Waterhen First Nation last Tuesday. He has been charged with pointing a firearm and four other weapons offenses.

RCMP report finding a loaded firearm, ammunition, 28 grams of cocaine and trafficking paraphernalia inside a Beauval residence.

In addition, Ernest was wanted by Correctional Services Canada for breaching his statutory release.  Roy is facing drug and weapons charges, as well as being wanted in connection with the theft of an SUV in July 2023.
