The Saskatoon Police Service is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 12-year-old.

Mercedes Umpherville was last seen around 03:30 a.m. this morning in the 100 block of Short Place. There is concern that Mercedes is not properly dressed for the weather.

Mercedes Umpherville is described as being approximately 4′ tall, 80 lbs with dyed black shoulder length hair and brown eyes. Mercedes was last seen wearing a white jacket with green sleeves, dark sweatpants, no shoes on.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mercedes Umpherville is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or, in an emergency, 9-1-1. Anonymous information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
