The Prince Albert Police Service says the death of a man found in the snow on March 4th has been determined not suspicious or criminal in nature. The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service is investigating. Police were dispatched on Monday, March 4th to an outdoor area in the 400 block of 15th Street, and that’s where the man was found lying in the snow.
The Prince Albert Police Service encourages community members to watch out for one another, and if they see someone in a vulnerable state in the cold, take the extra step to ensure their safety. You can call 911 if you see someone in immediate or imminent danger. If they aren’t in immediate danger, you can call the police non-emergency line. Police may dispatch officers or redirect the call to paramedics or an outreach organization.
