Just after midnight on Sunday, RCMP responded to a a reported of an injured woman at a home on Far Reserve Road in La Ronge. EMS also attended and pronounced 52-year-old Sharon Brown from the La Ronge district dead at the scene. The death was considered suspicious so Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes took carriage of the investigation. Thirty-three year old Brad Ratt of La Ronge is charged with second degree murder. He was remanded into custody and appears in court on April 4th.
