Turtleford RCMP are warning the public of the presence of dangerous illicit drugs circulating in the area after two people died suddenly on the Thunderchild First Nation on Thursday.

Investigation suggests fentanyl may have been involved in these incidents, but this isn’t certain until the results of a toxicology have been completed by the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.

However, drugs testing positive for fentanyl were seized as part of a traffic stop investigation on the Thunderchild First Nation the following day.
