Unifor activists are holding an information picket today [mon] at the Co-op Cardlock in Weyburn. Local 5-9-4 members have been locked out of the Co-op Refinery in Regina since last month. Unifor National President Jerry Dias says, “It’s time the rank and file Co-op members tell greedy executives such as CEO Scott Banda to back off and negotiate a fair deal.” The Co-op Refinery has tweeted that, on average, employees there make $172 thousand annually in wages, benefits and pension.
