A former Premier, well known business owners and philanthropists, and a current Tribal Chief are on the list of 10 outstanding individuals who will become the next recipients of the Saskatchewan Order of Merit. Brad Wall, who stepped down as Premier in February 2018 is on the list, in addition to Greg and Olivia Yuel as well as Saskatoon Tribal Chief Mark Arcand.
Lieutenant Governor, Russ Mirasty, says, “I am grateful to the newest recipients of the Saskatchewan Order of Merit for making profoundly positive impacts in our communities. By generously giving of their time, talents and resources, they have significantly contributed to the betterment of our province.”
The Saskatchewan Order of Merit was established in 1985 and to date, 266 people have been invested with the Order in recognition of their significant contributions to the province.
