SCHEDULE FOR FRIDAY, MAY 10
The Saskatchewan Roughriders continue preparing for the 2024 C-F-L season today their Rookie Camp finishing up at Griffiths Stadium on the U of S campus in Saskatoon. Today’s session runs from 8:30 a.m. to about Noon. The Green and White have a day off tomorrow before Main Training Camp opens Sunday. The Riders play their home pre-season game on Monday, May 20th against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Kick-off time is 2 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium. Saskatchewan’s regular-season starts Saturday, June 8th in Edmonton with the home opener on Sunday, June 23rd against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Kick-off time is 5 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium.

The Centennial Cup, Canadian Junior A Hockey Championship tournament, continues today and runs through Sunday, May 19th in Oakville, Ontario. Ten teams, made up of nine league champions – including the S-J-H-L-champion Melfort Mustangs – and the host Oakville Blades are taking part in the event. The teams are split into two pools of five teams each for preliminary round-robin play, followed by playoffs. Melfort has 1 win, 0 losses for 3 points…tied for 1st place in Group B. The Mustangs return to action tomorrow, as follows…
