The Haultain Crossing Housing complex in Regina is getting 675-thousand dollars in government funding.
The province’s largest multi-family development is slated to be the home for 62 Habitat for Humanity partner families.
Another Habitat for Humanity initiative is among the six Saskatchewan projects to share 1.8 million dollars in combined federal and provincial funding with 130-thousand going toward construction of single-family homes in Melfort and Estevan.
Officials have also announced 570-thousand toward the YWCA Youth Mentorship project for six affordable housing units in Prince Albert.
Single-family homes are also going to be built in Ile-a-la-Crosse and Pinehouse with up to 495-thousand dollars earmarked for that project.
