A 40-year-old Regina man is facing multiple charges, including evading police, after an incident in Saskatoon late last night.
Police attempted to stop a vehicle on Circle Drive North near Avenue B North just after 11pm. The driver sped away and police ended the pursuit.
Eventually, the vehicle would run over multiple tire deflation devices set by police. It continued to drive at a low speed through the city and south on Highway 219 where it got stuck on a rural road.
The driver was arrested and police indicate officers located $3,665 in cash, an expandable baton and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
