Three people were arrested last Wednesday during an RCMP traffic stop on Highway 55 east of Meadow Lake as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
An RCMP news release says two men and a woman were arrested with officers saying they seized about 2.4 kilograms of cocaine, unstamped tobacco and drug trafficking paraphrenia in the vehicle.
Shane Lachance, age 39, from the Flying Dust First Nation, as well as 33-year-old Zabrina Laliberte and 57-year-old Roderick Ouelette from Meadow Lake are scheduled to appear in provincial court June 24th.
