Meadow Lake RCMP have charged three teenage girls with aggravated assault in a Wednesday night beating of a woman outside a residence in the community.

Police say the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The girls age 13, 15 and 17 are in custody until court appearances Monday.

The 15-year-old has also been charged with possession of a dangerous weapon.
