A 28-year-old man is in Prince Albert Provincial Court today charged with Aggravated Assault and Assault with a weapon after police responded to a report of an injured person Saturday evening.
The call came in at 7:15 p.m. from the area of 28th Street East and Sherman Drive where officers found an injured 28-year-old man outside who was taken to hospital via ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. However, additional calls came in reporting more injured people inside a nearby apartment building.
A 44-year-old-man was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Prince Albert Police say a fight in one of the apartments spilled out into the hallway. The 28-year-old man was arrested and held in custody after being released from hospital.
