Just before 8 Saturday night, Saskatoon Police responded to call in the 300 block of Marlatte Street in the city’s Evergreen neighbourhood regarding two masked people trying to get into a home and that shots were fired into the residence.
In a news release, police say the suspects were seen leaving in a vehicle. Once officers arrived, they found a male with minor injuries and another male who had been grazed by a bullet.
Both were taken to hospital. Officers eventually located the suspect vehicle and attempted a traffic stop.
The vehicle failed to stop for police before driving out to Warman where it eventually came to a stop. One person fled on foot before being apprehended by police.
Two men ages 26 and 30 are in custody and are facing a number of charges. Police are continuing to investigate.
