Prince Albert Police say 83-year-old Iris Prokopie, who was in a two-vehicle accident on June 11th has died, so the charges for the driver of the other vehicle have changed. Bernard McCallum’s previous charges were dangerous driving causing bodily harm and criminal negligence while driving causing bodily harm. He is now charged with dangerous driving causing death and criminal negligence while driving causing death.

Just before 3 p.m. June 11th, emergency crews responded to an accident involving a car and a truck. Police say the car, being driving by Iris Prokopie, was struck by a speeding truck driven by a 22-year-old man. McCallum is back in court on July 4th.
