So many different tasks are done on-line with today’s technology, why not add reporting crime to the list?
The Saskatoon Police Service has introduced a new online option to do just that. In a news release, the SPS say theft over $5,000 is among the many crimes that can be reported using the online reporting system at www.saskatoonpolice.ca/onlinereporting. The other crimes that can be included online include identity theft or fraudulent scams, theft under $5,000, theft from a motor vehicle under $5,000, mischief or willful damage, graffiti to a vehicle or property, harassing communications, lost property under $5,000, lost or stolen license plates and hate crimes. Saskatoon Police says online reporting of crime assists them in analyzing trends and allocating resources where they’re most effective. Police reports can still be made by calling 306-975-8300 or visiting the front desk at Saskatoon Police Service headquarters at 76 25th Street East.
