La Loche RCMP and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating a sudden death from over the weekend at Saleski Lake.

The Saskatchewan RCMP news release says the La Loche detachment received a report at about 9:15 Sunday morning of a deceased individual in the water in Saleski Lake. Officers plus local fire and EMS removed the adult male from the water, upon which he was declared deceased by EMS. The man’s family have been notified. No further information will be released.
