A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a male from the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation in relation to a serious assault in Loon Lake Thursday afternoon.
A Saskatchewan RCMP news release says Loon Lake RCMP received a report of a serious assault outside a business in Loon Lake at about 1:27 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with serious injuries. Their investigation determined the suspect assaulted the victim with an edged weapon and then fled. The victim was transported to hospital. A search for the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Isaiah Alexander (pictured), was unsuccessful with patrol and a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System. Loon Lake RCMP are actively trying to locate him. He is described as being 5’8″ tall and weighing 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has been charged with one count aggravated assault, one count assault with a weapon and one count possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Anyone who sees Isaiah Alexander is urged not to approach him, but to report sightings and information to Loon Lake RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
