A spray plane went down near Birch Hills Thursday morning.

Birch Hills Fire and Rescue got the call at 7:52 a.m. yesterday that a plane had crashed in the Rural Municipality of Invergorden. When crews arrived, they located a spray plane that had crashed in a field. According to the social media post members of the public were tending the pilot and fire crews assisted with treatment.

Fire crews also set up a STARS helicopter landing zone. The patient was taken by STARS to Saskatoon in serious condition.
