The Saskatoon Police Service says their officers were called to a weapons complaint around 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 3800 block of Miyowahkohtowin Road.
While responding officers received updates indicating a man had a firearm.
A suspect matching the description was located and arrested. He didn’t have a firearm on him, but an imitation firearm was found nearby.
Police say their investigation leads them to believe the suspect pointed the firearm at multiple people. A 49-year-old man is facing multiple firearms charges, as well as three counts of assault with a weapon.
