The 2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games continue and wind up today in Lloydminster. More than 18-hundred athletes, coaches and officials will take part in the multi-sport event. Athletes will represent the nine Sport, Culture and Recreation Districts from across the province, competing in 14 different sports. The second half sports being contested today are athletics, baseball, basketball, beach volleyball, soccer and triathlon.

The Canadian Junior National Ball Hockey Championships continue and wrap up today at the Henk Ruys Soccer Centre and Merlis Belsher Place. There are female and male divisions ranging from Under-15 to Under-23 taking part. Action at both venues starts at 9 a.m. and goes all day with the final game at both venues beginning at 3 p.m.

The 11th event of the 2024 Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Association season goes tonight at Sutherland Automotive Speedway. Racing in the Pro Truck, Street Stock, Sportsman and Bandolero divisions starts at 6 p.m. with gates open to the public at 4 p.m.

Saskatchewan International Raceway hosts another full day of racing, with the fourth Points Race plus Test and Tune. Gates open at 7:00 a.m. with qualifying starting at 10:00 a.m. Eliminations begin about 1:30 p.m. Pit Vehicle races follow the eliminations.
