Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan distributed $1.16 million in gaming grants in the first quarter of 2024-25.

There were more than 750 groups and organizations which benefited. One of those groups is the Saskatchewan SPCA which now also provides a pet food bank to help families keep their pets during tuogh financial times. They also offer resources to help animal owners escape a violent home.

Nearly $270,000 was paid to groups in Saskatoon and more than $200,000 was paid to groups in Regina Other communities which received funding include Prince Albert, Weyburn, Estevan, Melville, Meadow Lake, Humboldt and Melfort.
