Four people have been charged and arrested in connection to a home invasion investigation by Lloydminster RCMP. Just after 7 in the morning on June 11th, officers responded to a home invasion and found two people with gunshot wounds who were airlifted to hospital. Investigators believe they were involved in the break and enter.
Three of the four charged with break and enter with intent are 34-year-old Kyle Soosay of Onion Lake, 36-year-old Terrence Stonechild of Wetaskiwin, Alberta and 33-year-old Warren Littlewolfe, of Edmonton. Valance Wapass, a 39-year-old from Onion Lake, who was one of the men who was shot, is facing the same charge and is currently awaiting a Judicial Interim Hearing.
Lloydminster RCMP are looking for four others, also facing the same charge and have warrants for their arrest. They are 20-year-old Aimery Thunderblanket of Sweetgrass First Nation, 37-year-old Troy Cross of Elk Point, Alberta, 27-year-old Louisa Wahpistikwan of Onion Lake, and 45-year-old Richard Cross of Saskatoon, who is the other man who was shot.
