An 18-year-old woman was declared dead by paramedics at a residence in the community located one hour east of Region early Sunday morning.
Indian Head RCMP say the victim is Keilia Windigo from Wolseley. A male youth from the Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation was arrested on the scene. He has been charged with manslaughter, possession of an unauthorized firearm, pointing a firearm, and possession of a loaded restricted firearm without a license.
He made his first court appearance Monday in Regina.
