The Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit is investigating a shooting which happened around 11:30 last night (Wed). Officers responded to the 100 block of Avenue Q South and found a 46-year-old man with what was believed to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He told police he had been outside an apartment building in the 1700 block of 22nd Street West when two unknown men approached him, and following a brief confrontation, he was shot. He then went to Avenue Q South and called for help. The victim was transported to hospital by paramedics for treatment of his injuries.
