The University of Saskatchewan Huskies Football team continue training camp in preparation for Week 1 next weekend. Saskatchewan begins the regular season on the road on Saturday, August 31st against the Manitoba Bisons, with kickoff at 1 p.m. The Huskies first home game is on Friday, September 13th when they host the Calgary Dinos with kickoff at 7 p.m. from Griffiths Stadium.

The 14th event of the 2024 Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Association season at the Sutherland Automotive Speedway is tonight with the first ever “Race for the Kids” in partnership with the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital. Racing in the Sportsmen, Pro-Late Models, and Run-Your-Junk divisions starts at 6 p.m. with gates open to the public at 4 p.m.
