To celebrate 40 years of providing critical care, STARS and Viterra are launching the 2025 edition of their calendar.
For 32 years, the STARS calendar has showcased the actions of the STARS medical crew and buying one has become an annual tradition for many.
This year, the calendar will feature patients and crew members that have been pictured in previous editions, highlighting where they are now, and the journeys they’ve taken to get there.
In the last ten years, these calendars have raised $6 million towards funding STARS operations. Also, for the last decade, Viterra has covered the full printing costs of each calendar.
It takes roughly $11 million a year to operate the STARS air ambulance, only 50 per cent of which is provided by the government, making fundraising initiatives like this crucial in the continuation of over 900 STARS missions per year.
The calendars can be purchased here.
