Two people have been arrested and are facing multiple charges after a gun was fired last night. Saskatoon Police responded just before 7:30 in the evening to the 100 block of Avenue P North about a weapons complaint. They had been told a male and female slashed a tire and when confronted, pulled out and discharged a firearm into the air.

Police located and arrested the suspects a few blocks away without incident. From a search, officers report seizing a loaded firearm, ammunition, bear spray, a folding knife and meth from the man and from the woman, bear spray and meth were seized.
