A 38-year-old man was arrested in Saskatoon yesterday after he was reported to be yelling at people while in possession of a knife.
At 1:50 p.m., police were called to 20th Street West and Avenue A South. Officers say they found a man matching the description of the suspect, who then resisted arrest, but was eventually taken into custody.
Police say several pens were located during a search of the man. They believe he used a pen as a weapon on a person he did not know.
The man is now facing charges relating to assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and resisting arrest.
