The NDP has added another school to its construction list if the party wins the next provincial election.
Leader Carla Beck was in Moose Jaw on Friday to announce plans to build a new elementary school to replace St. Michael.
She says the Moose Jaw school—built in 1956—is overdue for replacement. It reportedly has significant structural issues like cracks, poor ventilation, outdated plumbing and undersized student washrooms.
Earlier this week, Beck also committed to building a high school at White City—just east of Regina.
