Thirteen records were broken on Sunday in Saskatchewan and Broadview area tied its record of 32.3 set in 2003. Environment Canada reports that Watrous had the largest jump in its new record, at 2.1 degrees from 33 set in 1981 to 35.1 yesterday. Next was Last Mountain Lake with a 1.8 degree rise from 1981, setting a new record of 34.8 degrees. Lucky Lake comes in with the third highest increase at 1.6 degrees, from 33.5 set in 2017 to 35.1 degrees yesterday. Neither Saskatoon nor Prince Albert broke any records.

Watrous and Lucky Lake tied for Hot Spot in Saskatchewan and were also the Hot Spot in Canada at 35.1 degrees. Watrous also took the honours for the cold spot in Saskatchewan at 3.8 degrees.
