Retail sales in Saskatchewan came in at $1.6 billion dollars in November. Statistics Canada says that was a drop of 0.5 per cent from October. A total of four provinces were in negative territory for that period while the national average was an increase of just under a per cent. Compared to November 2018, sales here were down, again, 0.5 per cent. We and Alberta were alone in registering declines. The national average was an increase of just under 2 per cent.
