Following an investigation into mailbox thefts, fraud and identity thefts, the Saskatoon Police Economic Crime Section has charged three people.

With assistance from other units of the Saskatoon Police Service, a search warrant was executed on Wednesday in the 200 block of Russel Road in Silverwood Heights. A 31-year-old Saskatoon woman is facing two counts of fraud over $5,000, three counts under $5,000, five counts of identity theft, two counts of identity fraud and possession of stolen property, for a total of 13 charges in all. A 41-year-old Saskatoon man is charged with fraud over $5,000 and a 32-year-old man from Île-à-la-Crosse is charged with obstruction, possession of a weapon and concealing a weapon. The investigation continues.
