In an effort to improve the literacy outcomes of local students, the provincial government is partnering with Prairie Spirit School Division to launch a pilot program.
Using $170,000 provincial dollars, the Prairie Spirit School Division and Roadways Literacy Academy are going to deliver a program that includes daily instruction in two classrooms combined with focused individual tutoring.
Teachers and educational assistants involved in the pilot program will receive training from Roadways Literacy Academy to help them deliver literacy lessons to students in grades 1 through 8 for years to come.
Roadways Literacy Academy is a qualified independent school and tutoring studio in Saskatoon.
