A 45-year-old Calgary man has been taken to hospital after he was attacked by a bear on the Great Divide Trail, on the Alberta-British Columbia border northeast of Sparwood.

Yesterday at 11:19am, Crowsnest Pass RCMP learned that one man had been attacked by a bear and had extensive injuries. He is still in hospital being treated for his injuries.
