The Saskatchewan Science Centre has received a funding gift that will help it purchase a new IMAX GT dual laser digital projection system.
On Monday, the provincial government announced the $500,000 investment, which will enhance the visitor experience and allow for the continuation of documentary and film screenings into the future.
The announcement was made at the pre-view screening of 13 productions recently filmed in the province, which took place at the Kramer IMAX Theatre inside the Science Centre.
Several of the local films, including ‘Why Am I?’, ‘Staying Wild’, ‘Flat Out Food’, and ‘Guardians of the North’ are available to view on CityTV.
