Regina Police, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, has begun an investigation into the death of a male, who was found critically injured at a home in the 4400 block of Dwedney Avenue Friday afternoon just before 1:30.

Police say the male was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Police were initially responding to a property check of a residence in the area.

Once officers arrived, they found the man in medical distress. The investigation is continuing.
